Get well soon, Reg

I wish to inform club members that Reg Stanistreet is currently in Walton Neurological Centre as a result of a serious injury.
Reg was injured last Thursday, when mountain biking off-road with his brother, John, and Mick Brady.
He was moved on Tuesday from the intensive care unit to the high dependency unit.
Later this week, he will be transferred to the specialist spinal unit at Southport Hospital.
I have visited Reg in hospital and despite his injuries, he is in remarkably good spirits.
I have also sent him a get-well card on behalf of the club and I’m sure you will all join with me in wishing Reg a speedy recover.
Anyone wishing to visit Reg in hospital should first speak to John or Jimmy Stanistreet.
I will try to keep you updated on his condition.

  4. Reg Stanistreet

Reg is now settled in at the spinal unit at Southport Hospital, and he has asked me to let you know that he is continuing to make slow progress from his injury. As from next week he will be undergoing intense daily 4 hour physiotherapy sessions, and because of this the best times for anyone to visit Reg will be between 3-9pm. Finally he has asked me to pass on his thanks for all the good wishes and visits he has received from club members.
