The 2011 Liverpool Mercury ( Dolan ) Hill Climb took place at Ashurst Beacon on Sunday 30th October. The event was attended by over 70 club members with 41 actually taking part in the event. Phil Thomas may have been quicker if Vicky hadn’t tampered with his cycling top on the line! But the Thomas legends where later seen helping the youngest entry, Jack Scott, up the final part of the climb after his heroic attempt to win ended in a pair of very tired legs. Thanks to all who helped on the day to make the event such a great success.
